Alerts Credit Card Users
Customers on June 6 Should Closely Monitor Accounts for Fraud
An overnight
burglary at the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department Wednesday
has city officials notifying the public of a theft of credit card
receipts.

Manager Kelly Drawdy, said credit card receipts from customers
visiting the Bad Königshofen
Family
Aquatic Center, Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center, Howard Moore
Pool and Woodland West Pool on June 6 were stolen Wednesday
night from the department’s administrative office at 717 W. Main
St.
Today, the department
is asking all customers who visited one of these pools on Wednesday,
June 6, and paid by credit card to take the first step and contact the
fraud or security department of their creditor or financial banking
institution and report the stolen information.
The City of Arlington
is working closely with its Treasury Office and issuing bank who have
implemented fraud monitoring procedures to help protect credit card
consumers.
