Municipal Court to Close for Three Consecutive Saturdays
New office opens May 14 with more space, greater focus on customer
service
Beginning Saturday, May 12, the Arlington Municipal Court at 200
W. Abram St. will close for three consecutive Saturdays. Municipal
Court is moving three blocks east into larger offices at 201 E.
Abram St.
The first day of business in the Municipal Office Tower will be
Monday, May 14, beginning at 7 a.m. Municipal Court will occupy the
first and second floors of the tower.
Customers with court hearings will continue to visit the location at
200 W. Abram St. until Monday, June 4.
“We will be moving in three phases, and we’re using the last
three Saturdays of the month to accomplish that,” said Municipal
Court Director David Preciado. “We’re expanding the court from two
courtrooms to five. We will have more space and a greater focus on
customer service.”
During the transition period, Municipal Court will maintain its
regular hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday
hours will resume June 2.
Other Convenient Methods for Paying Fines:
- Warrant payments are accepted seven days a week at more than
50 authorized payment locations in Arlington. For a listing of

- Payment can be made by telephone 24 hours a day and seven
days a week using a Master Card, American Express, Visa or
Debit. Call 1-888-604-7888 or pay online at the Municipal Court
website at

- Payment can be mailed to: Arlington Municipal Court, Mail
Stop 02-0100, P.O. Box 90403, Arlington, Texas 76004-3403.
- An After Hours Drop Box is also located at the Ott Cribbs
Public Safety Building, 620 W. Division St.
