City 5 Moves to Channel 16
Time Warner Changes Effect Arlington Government Cable Channel

City of Arlington Cable Channel 5 has moved to Cable Channel 16. Time Warner’s programming realignment of local channels in Arlington has prompted the relocation of the City government channel.

Beginning today, City 5 programming resides on Cable Channel 16. Known for years as City 5, Arlington’s municipal government channel will also change its name to Arlington 16.

Arlington 16 will continue to broadcast the live meetings of the Arlington City Council, the Arlington Update Show and Access Arlington, the city’s video information bulletin board.

The program schedule for Channel 16 can be viewed on the City of Arlington website at www.arlingtontx.gov/broadcast. In addition to the schedule, viewers can watch archived productions of the Arlington Update Show on the city website, and order copies of previous shows and City Council meetings.
