A Good “Head” Start... Free Back to School Hair Cuts
Arlington Council Member Leads Second Annual Event

What:
City Council member Robert Rivera’s Second Annual Back-2-School Barber Shop Bash

When:
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9

Where:
Starz Barber Shop, 3751 Matlock Road, Suite 121 – Near Interstate 20 and the corner of Matlock Road and Arbrook Boulevard in south Arlington

Background Information:
This is Robert Rivera’s second year of helping Arlington students get a head start to the new school year. Select students will receive a free hair cut. City Council Member Rivera says something as basic as a good hair cut can help build confidence and self esteem.

Who:
This program is by invitation only. It is especially for children who are waiting to be matched with an adult mentor through the Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas.
