City of Arlington Public Works Director Bob Lowry
will seek input about the City’s plans to rebuild Abram Street from
Collins Street to State Highway 360 during a community meeting on
March 20.
The meeting is being hosted by East Arlington
Renewal and will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Senior Recreation Center –
Eunice located at 1000 Eunice St. in Arlington.
According to the Public Works Department, the city
is planning to reconstruct the existing four lanes of Abram Street and
raise the elevation of the bridge over Johnson Creek to help alleviate
flooding. Funding sources are currently being identified.
