County Plans November 1 Demolition of Structures in the Core Project Area

October 31, 2005

On Tuesday, November 1, Tarrant County will begin the initial demolition of structures located in the core project area of the future Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. Eight structures have been prepared for removal.

County work crews are scheduled to start demolition work at 7:30 a.m. in the 900 block of Sweetbriar Drive. Only structures that have been vacated and cleared of hazardous materials will be removed during this initial phase of the demolition process.
