Fall Cleanup Day is Saturday, Oct. 15

Fall Cleanup Day in Arlington is Saturday, Oct. 15. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Arlington residents can dispose of items such as brush, tires, furniture, carpet, lumber, appliances and auto batteries. Materials can be taken to one of the following locations for free disposal:

  • Arlington Sanitary Landfill, 800 Mosier Valley Road
  • Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, 1800 E. Lamar Blvd.
  • Sam Houston High School, 2000 Sam Houston Dr.
  • Summit High School, 1071 W. Turner Warnell Rd.

Proof of Arlington residency is required. Arlington residents must present identification such as a current driver's license or water bill upon arrival. For a list of the most frequently asked questions about Fall Cleanup Day, go to the City of Arlington website at environment/cleanupday.html 

Fall Cleanup Day is sponsored by the Arlington Clean Team, Arlington Disposal Company, the City of Arlington, the Arlington Independent School District, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor and the Mansfield Independent School District.
