Major renovations at two Arlington Fire Department stations will require the temporary relocation of crews and equipment to adjoining stations, beginning Sunday, July 10.

Crews and equipment from the #6 Fire Station, 2620 S. Collins St., will be moved to the #2 Station, 1727 Sherry St., and the #12 Station, 5050 S. Collins St. Fire Station #8 crews and equipment, currently located at 2020 Madison Dr., will be sent to the #11 Station, 2204 Ballpark Way, and the #14 Station, 5501 Ron McAndrew Dr.

Renovations are expected to take four to six months. During this time stations #6 and #8 will be vacant, except for construction crews.

Citizens should continue to utilize 911 to request assistance in an emergency.
