City Council Members Host Town Hall Meetings in January

Five Arlington City Council representatives will host town hall meetings in January. The meetings are an opportunity for Arlington voters to gather information about city issues and meet with their City Council representative and at-large City Council representatives.

On February 5, Arlington voters will go to the polls and decide whether a homestead tax ceiling should be granted to eligible homeowners who are disabled or age 65 or older. The ballot will also include a local option election for wine and beer sales for off-premise consumption. Early voting begins Thursday, January 20.

For more information, or if special accommodations are needed at a town hall Meeting, call the Office of the Mayor and City Council at 817-459-6141 or 817-459-6122. For information about the February 5 Special City Election, go to www.ci.arlington.tx.us and click on Special Election.
