The Northeast Reading Group – Every Second Thursday Join lively discussions every second Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Northeast Branch Library. For more information, call 817-277-5573.
Kids Series Computer Classes: New Year’s Resolutions Children ages 7 to 12 will use Microsoft Publisher to create a mini-poster of their New Year’s resolutions, beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 at the Central Library Computer Training Center. Registration is limited to 10 students. Call 817-459-6900, option 4, option 2 to register. Scrapbooking Children ages 7 to 12 learn the basics of scrapbooking and create their own mini-scrapbooks. Participants are encouraged to bring photographs, certificates, postcards and other creative items. Registration is required and seating is limited to 30.
