District 2 City Council Member Sheri Capehart will host a series of town hall meetings beginning Monday, Aug. 2. The meetings will occur at the Tierra Verde Club House at 7005 Golf Club Drive in southwest Arlington.

Capehart said her series of Town Hall Meetings have been planned to be educational, providing constituents with information needed for input into the City of Arlington budget process.

Re-elected to the City Council in May 2004, Capehart represents District 2, which is the southwest sector of Arlington bounded by Interstate 20 on the north and Matlock Road on the east.
