The City of Arlington Office of Communication will broadcast the common themes, ideas and guiding principles that resulted from a two-day workshop about downtown Arlington redevelopment next week.

The "Reporting Out" presentation, led by national planning consultant John Fregonese, will be televised at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 15 on Cable Channel 5, the City government channel.

Marketing Manager Gerald Urbantke said the session is being broadcast because of its widespread interest to Arlington residents.

The Downtown Arlington Unified Master Plan was the subject of three-day community workshop that started June 10. Fregonese was hired by the City of Arlington to unify previous downtown land use plans and planning documents. Fregonese Calthorpe Associates have also prepared a downtown plan for Denton, and have drafted several regional growth strategies for Austin, Contra Costa County, Calif. and Salt Lake City, Utah.
