District 2 City Council Member Sheri Capehart will host a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 10. The meeting will be held at the Tierra Verde Club House, 7005 Golf Club Drive.

Council Member Capehart will be meeting with citizens in District 2 for the first time since her election. The meeting’s topic will be an update on District 2.

Capehart, who was elected in May 2004, previously served on the City Council from 2000 to 2003. District 2, located in the southwest corner of Arlington, encompasses that portion of the city bounded primarily by I-20 on the north and Matlock Road on the east. District 2 includes National Semiconductor, Doskocil Manufacturing, Tierra Verde Golf Course and the Harold Patterson Sports Center.
