Fall Cleanup Day in Arlington is Saturday, Oct. 25

Fall Cleanup Day in Arlington is Saturday, Oct. 25. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Arlington residents can dispose of trash, brush, tires, furniture, carpet, lumber, appliances, auto batteries and tires free of charge. Items can be taken to one of the following locations for disposal:

    • Arlington Sanitary Landfill, 800 Mosier Valley Road
    • Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, 1800 E. Lamar Blvd.
    • Sam Houston High School, 2000 Sam Houston Dr.

Proof of Arlington residency is required. Arlington residents should present identification such as a current driver's license or water bill upon arrival. Contractors will not be allowed to dispose of items.

Fall Cleanup Day is sponsored by the Arlington Clean Team, Arlington Disposal Company, the City of Arlington, the Arlington Independent School District and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor.
