City Manager Chuck Kiefer announced today that he had appointed Water Utilities Director Charles Anderson as acting deputy city manager for administration.

Administration includes the Support Services Department, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Finance. Anderson will be filling the position left vacant when Bill Studer retired earlier in the month.

Anderson has been with the City since 1972 and has been the director of Water Utilities since 1996. Prior to coming to the City, he worked for the General Dynamics Corporation as a chemist and was in the U.S. Army.
