City Manager Names Acting Deputy for Administration
City Manager Chuck Kiefer announced today that he had appointed Water Utilities Director Charles Anderson as acting deputy city manager for administration.

Hugh Smith Indoor Pool To Close Aug. 1 for Improvements
The Hugh Smith Indoor Pool will close Friday, August 1 for maintenance. It is scheduled to re-open in mid to late September.

Three Municipal Swimming Pools to Close July 31
The summer swim season ends early next week at three Arlington municipal swimming pools. Arlington has five outdoor swimming pools and one indoor swimming pool.

More public input is being gathered about the future of Arlington in 2025. Residents are being asked to review the proposed vision statement and list of goals for Arlington and provide feedback by completing a survey.

Main Street, from Center to Pecan streets, will be closed for two hours beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 10. This portion of Main Street is scheduled to re-open by noon.
