Arlington Fire Department Warns: Do Not Leave Children in Hot Vehicles
As the hot weather approaches, the Arlington Fire Department is reminding the community that kids, cars and heat can be a deadly combination.

The Arlington Municipal Building, Municipal Office Tower and many other city offices will be closed Friday, July 4, for Independence Day.

The 38th Annual Arlington Independence Day Parade starts at 9 a.m. Friday, July 4. The theme is "Proud to be an American." More than 45,000 spectators are expected along the streets of downtown Arlington.
