In addition to the supply of fish already in the pond, Program Coordinator Thomas Swinden said 300 pounds of catfish are being added for the one-day event.

At the Catfish Roundup, participants of all ages can compete for prizes, trophies and enjoy concessions until 4 p.m. Admission is $5 per person. Participants are asked to bring their own fishing pole.

Trophies will be awarded to children in five age groups. The individual who catches the largest fish will be awarded the Arlington Cup trophy.
