Beginning Monday, April 14, Arlington Municipal Court will no longer operate eleven hours a day Monday through Friday.

The new hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. New court walk-ins hours to the see the judge by appointment only are 7:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. The changes are a result of a city revenue shortfall.

Court Administrator Winnie Kocot said customer service hours were impacted by the elimination of two full-time staff positions and a part-time position.

After September 1, a new computer system is scheduled to go online, which will accept payments via the website 24 hours a day. Payments will also be accepted via the telephone through an interactive voice response system.

Fines can be mailed to Mail Stop 02-0100, P.O. Box 90403, Arlington, Texas 76004-3403. If the case is not in warrant status, payment can be made by cash, cashier’s check, money order or personal check. If there is an active arrest warrant, only cash, a cashier’s check or money order will be accepted. A drop box is also available conveniently located in the Municipal Court Lobby. Arlington Municipal Court is located at 200 W. Abram St. in downtown Arlington.
