City of Arlington officials will unveil the Arlington 2025 Comprehensive Planning process to the news media during a special event at noon Wednesday, Feb. 19. The event will occur at the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, which is located at 505 E. Border St. The event is hosted by the City and Wes Jury, president and CEO of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. Lunch will be provided.

Employing the phrase "Your future, your voice… build the vision," Arlington 2025 is a comprehensive planning and community visioning process. It involves a series of public meetings, workshops and online discussion forums to foster dialogue about the future of the city. City planning officials say the process recognizes Arlington’s diversity and is intended to build a shared vision to guide Arlington into the next 25 years.

During Wednesday’s event, the news media will receive a press packet and detailed information about the visioning process. In addition, the Pathways of Change, a 56-page document which outlines some eye-opening trends, will be presented.
