Thanksgiving Day Closings and City Service Schedules in Arlington

The Arlington Municipal Building, the Municipal Office Tower and many other City offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 for Thanksgiving.

The George W. Hawkes Central Library on Abram Street and all Arlington public library branches will be closed Thursday and Friday. Regular library hours will resume Saturday.

According to Handitran officials, there will be no special transportation services on Thursday or Friday. Regular service will resume Saturday.

On Thanksgiving Day, there will be no garbage and recycling pickups in the city. Regular service will occur as usual on Friday, Nov. 29.
