The Arlington City Council will conduct public hearings on the budget and tax rate at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3 in Council Chamber, 101 W. Abram St.

The proposed Fiscal Year 2003 budget for the City of Arlington can be viewed online at www.ci.arlington.tx.us.

During the public hearings, participants will be allowed three to five minutes for presentation. To provide input, complete a Speaker Card at the entrance to the Council Chamber and return it to a staff member. Citizens who do not wish to address the City Council, but desire to record an opinion, are asked to complete a Speaker Card. The comments on the card become a part of the official record of the public hearing.
