The Arlington Chamber of Commerce will host Policy Insider Updates with U.S. Representatives Joe Barton (R-Ennis) and Martin Frost (D-Arlington).

Rep. Barton will speak Thursday, Aug. 15 at 3 p.m.

Rep. Frost will speak Thursday, Aug. 29 at 8 a.m.

At these meetings, hear the latest news from Washington. Learn more about the issues in the forefront this year in Congress and what will follow the summer recess.

Rep. Barton represents the Sixth District of Texas, comprised of parts of Ellis, Dallas, Tarrant, Parker, and Johnson counties. He is chair of the House Subcommittee on Energy and Air Quality. He also serves on the House Science Committee and is a member of the House Republican Steering Committee. Barton was first elected to Congress in 1984.

Rep. Frost represents the Twenty-fourth District of Texas, comprised of parts of Dallas, Tarrant and Ellis counties and all of Navarro County. He serves as Chairman of the Democratic Caucus. Frost is the Ranking Member on the House Rules Committee. He was first elected to Congress in 1978.
