City of Arlington Central Library Opening Delayed

The City of Arlington Central Library will open at 1 pm today June 10, 2002.

Regular hours of operation today at George Hawkes Central Library have been delayed by mechanical problems with the air conditioning system.

The Central Library, located at 101 East Abram in central Arlington, will remain closed this morning while maintenance staff makes repairs on the air conditioning system.

The Children's Summer Reading Club program, featuring "Bucky the Western Clown" will be held at 10 a.m. as scheduled on the west lawn of the library.

Patrons should contact the Library at 817-459-6900 for information on when the library will open following repairs. Patrons calling about the opening time should dial 0 for immediate assistance.
