The two westbound lanes of Arkansas Lane will be closed to through traffic beginning Tuesday, May 28 as the rebuild of Arkansas Lane from Collins Street to Browning Drive begins in Arlington.

Motorists should expect this closure to last approximately five months. Two-way traffic will be maintained on the southern half of Arkansas Lane.

The $1.6 million project replaces the existing asphalt pavement with concrete. Sanitary sewer and water pipeline improvements are also included.
