Project Summary

From Abram Street to Interstate 30, North Cooper Street is being widened to six lanes. The $9.4 million project also includes landscaping, street lighting and underground utility improvements. This project is targeted for completion in September 2003.

To avoid construction areas, motorists should consider alternate routes such as Center, Mesquite, Davis, Fielder or Collins streets.
