The Texas Rangers 2002 baseball season begins Friday, April 5 at The Ballpark in Arlington. Game time is 2:05 p.m. The City of Arlington Department of Transportation and Police Department provides the following travel safety information:

• Beginning at 11:30 a.m., Ballpark Way from Road to Six Flags to Randol Mill Road will be closed. Randol Mill Road from Ballpark Way to Nolan Ryan Expressway will also be closed.
• Stadium Drive will be closed to northbound traffic at Chapman Cutoff and Randol Mill Road will be closed to westbound traffic at Arlington Downs. These closures will be in effect until approximately 90 minutes after the completion of the game.
• The Park-N-Ride lot, which is located on the southern part of the James Bonham and adjacent to Stadium Drive, will be closed.
• General parking is accessible from the north side entrance of The Ballpark from Collins Street to Ballpark Way. Late arrivals are encouraged to avoid entering The Ballpark area from Division Street and use the north access routes.
• Motorists can download pre-game and post-game maps 24-hours a day and seven days a week at www.ci.arlington.tx.us/transportation/pregame.html.
