King Holiday Closings and City Service Schedules in Arlington

The Arlington Municipal Building and many other city offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 21 for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

The George W. Hawkes Central Library on Abram Street and all Arlington public library branches will be closed Monday. Regular library hours will resume Tuesday.

According to Handitran officials, there will be no special transportation services on the King holiday. Regular service will resume Tuesday.

The administrative offices of the Parks and Recreation Department on Main Street will be closed Monday. All city recreation centers will be open.

The Senior Recreation Center on Eunice Street will be open. The Senior Recreation Center on Craig Hanking Drive will be open. The Arlington Tennis Center and all municipal golf courses will be open.

Garbage and recycling pickups in the city will occur as usual.
