Popular Holiday Exhibition Attracts Tourists from Near and Far

The holiday light displays at Interlochen in Arlington have begun. Beginning Friday, Dec. 15 through Christmas Day, from sundown to about 11 p.m., the City of Arlington will provide travel assistance to tourists in the area. There is no cost for admission.

In the first trial of Arlington's leaf recycling pilot program, November 12 - 17, the city's landfill was spared from receiving 111 tons of leaves.

Bound for Salt Lake City, Utah, the 2002 Olympic Torch will travel through Arlington on Wednesday, December 12. Organizers say the torch is scheduled to arrive at The Ballpark in Arlington at approximately 11:30 a.m.
