The Arlington Police Department operates a bond desk at the Arlington Jail. This office is open
24-hours per day to service citizens visiting prisoners and/or for
posting bonds for someone who has been arrested.
Visitation of prisoners is as follows:
Monday – Friday 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.
Weekends 3:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.
Visitors must be at least 17
years old and have some type of Texas identification. Children
accompanying visitors will not be allowed in the visitation area. An
adult must be with the children waiting in the jail lobby. Do not
bring anything for the prisoner. Items such as purses, bags, etc. are
not allowed in the visitation area. Sometimes visitation is cancelled
due to unavailability of adequate number of jail personnel to escort
the prisoners to the visitation area. Please call prior to visiting to
confirm availability of visitation.
