1/22/14 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List
The Arlington Housing Authority (AHA) is migrating to a new Applicant Portal and is requiring all applicants who applied for rental housing assistance through the AHA’s Housing Choice Voucher program to register on the new Applicant Portal. On Wednesday, January 22, 2014, post cards were mailed to approximately 10,000 applicants on the HCV waiting list. The post cards provide registration instructions. Post cards were mailed to the last known address provided by the applicant. Applicants that fail to register to the new Application Portal by 5:00 pm Central Time February 14, 2014 will be removed from the waiting list. Applicants that do not have access to a computer may use a computer at a branch of the Arlington Public Library or the computer kiosk at the AHA. Applicants that are disabled and need a reasonable accommodation may contact the AHA for assistance at 817-275-3351.

Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List Closed November 10, 2011

On November 10, 2011 at 5pm CST, the Arlington Housing Authority closed the waiting list for the Housing Choice Voucher program.

The AHA will contact applicants selected from the waiting list by mail or e-mail.

La Autoridad de Vivienda de Arlington (AHA) está migrando a un nuevo Portal Solicitante y está requiriendo a todos los solicitantes que solicitaron asistencia para la vivienda de alquiler a través del programa de la AHA Housing Choice Voucher para inscribirse en el nuevo Portal del Solicitante. 11/4/13 Modified Office Hours
Due to reductions to the Arlington Housing Authority’s Administrative Fees, the AHA has modified its business hours as follows: The AHA web site, landlord portal, client portal and applicant portal is operational 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The AHA lobby will be open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 9:00 am to noon on Friday. Friday afternoons are reserved for internal, uninterrupted processing of customer transactions.

Arlington Housing Finance Corporation- Mortgage Credit Certificate Program
A Mortgage Credit Certificate (MCC) is a federal income tax credit designed to assist persons to become homeowners. With an MCC, the qualified homebuyer is eligible to subtract a portion of the annual interest paid on the mortgage as a special tax credit, not to exceed $2,000.
