Improved Transfers to Fort Worth
Handitran now provides improved transfers to the Fort Worth “T” transit system for medical and social service trips only.
Handitran will now drop off curb-to-curb at 2 bus stops on Eastchase Pkwy north of Anderson and east of E. Lancaster and Loop 820.

Duplex Inspection Program
Effective September 1, 2008, the Community Services Department begins an annual duplex inspection program to help reinvigorate neighborhoods and encourage responsible property ownership and maintenance.

Beginning Tuesday, January 15, 2008, a new fee schedule becomes effective for various health, animal, transportation and code enforcement services provided in the City of Arlington.
Many of the additions and adjustments provide incentives for increasing the standards in Arlington to help make neighborhoods more safe and attractive.

Multi-Family Inspection Scores Now Available Online
The Community Services Department will post annual property inspections (API) scores for apartment communities, extended stay hotel/motels and triplex/quadplex properties online. A score of 70 or higher is passing.
