ON-SITE SEWAGE SYSTEMS

There are several areas within the city limits that are not serviced by city sewer. In these areas the Health Department regulates, permits, and monitors private on-site sewage systems. The Health Department is also the designated representative for the Texas Commission On Environmental Quality, which is the agency that oversees on-site sewage systems throughout the state.

Prior to constructing, modifying, or repairing an on-site Sewage System, an application must be completed and the required information submitted to the City of Arlington Health Department.

For on-site sewage requirement go to: http://www.tceq.state.tx.us

For names of individuals who are certified by Texas Commission On Environmental Quality to install on-site sewage systems go to: http://www.tceq.state.tx.us
