SCHEDULING RIDES
Call the scheduling office between
8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at:

You may schedule up
to six days in advance (14 days in advance for
"routine" trips—see below). All trip requests are taken
on a first-come, first-served basis. When requesting service, please
have the following information available:

Card Number, if asked)

Attendants

a Bus or Taxi

Time or Time Preference

Drop-off Address

Include
Building Name, Doctor Name, Suite, Apartment or Building
Number, Gate Codes, etc.

Same-day scheduling
is permitted on a space-available basis. Requests by passengers for
same-day changes on the schedule may be permitted if the schedule
can accommodate the change.
Refusals
may occur when Handitran cannot accommodate a trip due to limited
capacity.
Repeating ("Routine")
Trips
If you will be making the
same trip each week at the same time for at least four weeks,
"routine" service can be requested. This allows you to
schedule all of your trips with one phone call. Requests for
"routine" service can be made up to two weeks in advance.
"Routine" service may be temporarily cancelled for a
period no longer than four weeks.
