The City’s Pledge
The City of
Arlington will work with Green Team members to carry out waste audits to
determine a member’s level of waste service. If your business is located in
a multi-tenant building, it is recommended that you have your facilities
manager contact us to help set up recycling service. It is important to get
management’s support when starting any program. It might be a good idea to
have a ready made plan before approaching your boss. If you are an employee
interested in starting a work recycling program, you can get a

After checking out
our guide for setting up a program, you can access a list of local and area
recyclers / haulers. We suggest you contact several vendors to find a level
of service and cost that is right for you.
Your Pledge
The City of
Arlington needs your help tracking the success of this program. Each Green
Team member is asked to keep the City informed of both its
1) level of trash
service and
2) level of
recycling service
Published results
for the program will be aggregate, not individual. This is a Team effort.
