GOING GREEN IN ARLINGTON showcases a variety of environmental preservation methods and programs.

Throughout Arlington, more and more residents are doing their part to preserve and protect our Earth and the environment.

In neighborhoods, people are recycling to preserve the life of the landfill. They are reducing solid waste by composting and adopting medians and picking up litter to help beautify the City. They are choosing to use water wisely, preserving one of life’s most natural resources.

On Earth Day, which is April 22 2008, the City of Arlington encourages everyone to make a pledge to help preserve and protect the environment.
