Fleet Services is an internal service
fund that provides for management of the vehicle service contract for
maintenance of City vehicles and equipment.
Goals
The goal of the Fleet Services Fund
is to ensure that all City vehicles are maintained and repaired in a
timely, safe, and cost effective manner in order to provide
departments with the highest vehicle-in-commission rate possible.
Objectives and Performance Measures
To ensure an average daily fleet
availability rate of 95 percent.
To ensure a return-for-same-repair
rate of less than 2 percent.
To ensure an average daily vehicle
backlog at less than 33 units.
To ensure an average daily repair
turnaround of 24 hours or less for 80 percent of repairs.
To ensure a 95 percent PM
compliance rate.
To ensure that re-work does not
exceed 3 per month.
