STORM WATER MANAGEMENT SITE PLAN :: DEVELOPMENT SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS
(Updated 1/28/2004)

Pre-Application Conference

The developer or engineer for sites one acre or larger must attend a pre-application conference with Environmental Services prior to submitting the development.

Conferences are scheduled in 30 minute increments each Tuesday morning in the Department of Public Works' second floor conference room from 9AM to noon.

To schedule a conference, send your preferred date and time to envpreplat@ci.arlington.tx.us.

Suggested items to bring to the pre-application conference are:

  • proposed development plan,

  • site survey, and

  • other documents that describe the existing site and proposed changes.

Storm Water Management Site Plan

Development submittals of projects for sites 12,000 square feet or larger must include a preliminary Storm Water Management Site Plan.

A site plan will be accepted in lieu of a preliminary SWMSP if the site plan shows development will create less than 5,000 square feet of impervious surface.

See Article V of the Subdivision Regulations and the Design Criteria Manual (pdf) for specific requirements.
