This Holiday Season, the City’s Water Utilities Department Says: "Don’t Feed the Sewers!"
Properly dispose of your cooking oils and grease
  1. Soak up excess grease and oil with a paper towel or pour into a closed-lid container and place in the garbage.
      
  2. Filter and freeze used cooking oil for reuse.
      
  3. To dispose of large amounts of cooking oil, call the Fort Worth Environmental Collection Center at 817-871-5257.
