Public Transit Tops City Council Agendas
Linda K. Cherrington, president and CEO of LKC Consulting Services of Houston 
The Arlington City Council conducted the City’s first Transit Summit on May 29. The goal was to develop consensus on the most appropriate transit investment for Arlington.

"The City Council made a lot of good progress, considering where we were several years ago," said John Overman, who chaired the Council-appointed Citizen Transit Advisory Committee in 2000 and leads Arlington Rides, a citizen committee for public transportation.
