COMPLIANCE PROCESS :: JUDICIAL

When a citizen receives a citation for a code violation, there are several options for disposition of the charges.

Citation Disposition Options

Pay Fine:

You may choose to pay the fine for the violation(s) you are charged with.

Deferred Adjudication (Probation):

Deferred Adjudication dismisses your citation after you have paid an administration fee and completed a prescribed number of days without receiving another citation. You may be eligible for Deferred Adjudication if you have not been approved for Deferred Adjudication within the last 12 months.

Request for Trial:

If you prefer, you may plead "Not Guilty" and request a trial by Judge or Jury.
