In The News: Arlington Vital Records provides award winning service

The City of Arlington Bureau of Vital Records is responsible for ensuring that every birth and death occurring in the city limits of Arlington is properly registered and submitted to the State of Texas Bureau of Vital Records for recording. This office has birth records for all Texas births from 1903 to present. Death records from April 1971 and up may also be obtained in this office.

 Financial transactions are not accepted after 4:30 p.m. The office will remain open from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (except holidays) to answer questions and accept non-financial transactions.
