Joint Special Election Information

Proposition 1:
Vote "For" or "Against" 

"The legal sale of beer and wine for off-premises consumption only".

Proposition 2:
Vote "Yes" or "No" 

“Shall the City of Arlington no longer increase real property taxes for those sixty-five (65) and older, qualified spouses of deceased property owners, and the disabled, in accordance with subsection (h), Section 1-b, Article VIII, of the Texas Constitution?”

Early voting will begin Thursday, January 20, 2005. In order to vote, Arlington residents must be registered by January 6, 2005.

Election Day voting will begin at 7am and end at 7pm on Saturday, February 5.

A Spanish bilingual election clerk will be available at all polling locations. A Vietnamese bilingual election clerk will be available at Atherton Elementary, Burgin Elementary, Ferguson Junior High, Fitzgerald Elementary, and the City of Arlington South Service Center.
