These details or the actual construction may not be modified without prior approval from the Public Works Department. The details most often used by general contractors in conjunction with building permits are the Approaches: Approach w/ New Const., Existing Asphalt, Existing Concrete and Existing Rural Asphalt; Sidewalk: Sidewalk 4’; and Inlets: Recessed Inlet and Standard Inlet.
