We award our grants twice a year. The first cycle includes funding
under the category – Promoting Quality Leisure, Learning and Culture.
Our second cycle awards contributions as part of the Building Safe and
Strong Neighborhoods category. With exception of timelines and
deadlines, the application process is the same for
both of the foundation’s award cycles. Please see the grant timeline for
specific deadlines.
Find out the Foundation’s major areas of
giving and a brief description of the kinds of projects which may be
eligible for funding by clicking on the following Grant Cycles:
As our grant-making strategy continues to
evolve, our guidelines may be revised and refined. Please read each
section carefully before submitting a grant request.
Organizations may apply for grants for two consecutive years;
however, with the exception of City of Arlington departments, if a group
is awarded donations in both years, the charity may not apply again for
two fiscal years.
Projects may qualify for grants in more than one category in each
funding cycle. In those cases, a separate LOI must be submitted in each
category. When applying for more than one grant for a specific project,
please identify the other grants for which you are applying and please
provide ranking or priority preference for each project.
