The Arlington Tomorrow Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the
quality of life in our community today and for generations to come.
Committed to the vision of Arlington, Texas as an exemplary environment
in which to live, learn, work and play – the Arlington Tomorrow
Foundation will contribute to organizations making our neighborhoods
better places to call home.
Established by the Arlington City Council in 2007, the Arlington
Tomorrow Foundation supports work throughout the community designed to
have a positive impact on:

- Historic preservation and beautification
- Arts and culture
- Libraries
- Environmental and energy conservation
- Parks and recreation
- Animal services
- Youth and families

Geographic reach
Endowment Statistics
- Established in 2007, the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation, a 501
(c) 3 non-profit foundation, was formed by Arlington City Council to
oversee an endowment fund created from natural gas revenues realized
by City-owned property.
- Ninety percent of gas well lease bonus earnings and fifty
percent of all royalties earned on wells go to into the permanent
endowment.
- The interest earnings from this fund will be distributed to
charitable and government organizations through grants to help
improve the quality of life for the citizens of Arlington, Texas.
- The intent of the Foundation is to ensure that the finite income
generated from gas well leases continues to benefit our community
long after the leases conclude.
- In its first year of operation, the Foundation contributed more
than $2 million to charitable and City organizations dedicated to
serving the people of Arlington.
