NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK :: NEIGHBORHOODLINK.COM

logo for Neighborhood LINKFor the City of Arlington, the key to our success as the city of choice is responsive communication and coordination among citizens, neighborhood organizations and city government. Communication advances through Internet technologies have enabled individuals and organizations to establish on-line communities to exchange ideas and information.

One of the benefits of listing with The Neighborhood Network is the creation of a web page for each neighborhood association. Neighborhood Link, an internet-based community network, has created a tool that offers free web sites to local associations to post information about their neighborhoods, as well as newsletters, calendars of upcoming events, and other items of interest. After listing with The Neighborhood Network, your association will be contacted by representatives from Neighborhood Link with information on how to create a web site.

By creating a web site for your association, people will have access to up-to-date association information such as association leaders and officers, meeting dates, agendas, boundaries, newly formed associations, etc. Crime watch and COPS groups will also be able to get safety tips, crime alerts, and community police officers.
