H1N1 Update

Human cases of H1N1 have been identified in the United States. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has activated its Emergency Operations Center to provide guidance and support to cities and states where human cases of the H1N1 influenza have been identified.

The City of Arlington's H1N1 Influenza Hotline is 817-575-2846.

According to the CDC, school closures are no longer advised for a possible or confirmed case of influenza. Closure is not advised unless there is a magnitude of faculty or student absenteeism that interferes with the school’s ability to function. Read the latest press release.
