Arlington to Webcast Budget Overview

This week, Arlington City Manager Jim Holgersson will present the proposed General Fund budget for Fiscal Year 2009.

This is the first year the budget will be unveiled via the City’s webcast at www.arlingtontx.gov/broadcast. Watch it live on the web beginning at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday August 5th.

If you miss it, the August 5 Arlington City Council Meeting webcast can be viewed at anytime on the city’s website by clicking on Watch Arlington City Council Meeting With Agenda.
Following Tuesday’s budget presentation, the Arlington City Council will spend the next few weeks reviewing the city’s spending plan. Budget town hall meetings and public hearings are planned. The new fiscal year begins October 1.
