City and Rangers Celebrate New Roadway Extensions
The City of Arlington joined the Texas Rangers to officially open
the Road to Six Flags and Baird Farm Road extensions.
The roadway extensions accomplish another transportation milestone
in the city’s Entertainment District, officials said this week.
The projects are the first in a series of major transportation
projects being completed around Rangers Ballpark and the new Cowboys
Stadium.
The new Road to Six Flags extends east and west of Ballpark Way and
has a dedicated Rangers valet parking lane.
The new Baird Farm Road extends from Copeland Road to Randol Mill
Road. Construction of the new Baird Farm Road Bridge over I-30 will
begin later this fall.
